Welcome to Piqd. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Piqd website and platform (the "Service") operated by Piqd("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service. You also confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or accessing the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

2. Accounts and Registration

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

• You are responsible for safeguarding the password or authentication credentials that you use to access the Service.
• You agree not to disclose your password or authentication credentials to any third party.
• You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than you without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar, or obscene.

3. Content and Acceptable Use

Your Content

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, or other material ("Content"), including startup ideas, pitches, and comments. You are responsible for the Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting Content to the Service, you grant us the right and non-exclusive license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and our users.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post or transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Post any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," or any other form of solicitation.
• Manipulate the voting system, gamification features, or metrics (e.g., creating multiple accounts to artificially inflate validation scores).
• Post confidential, proprietary, or trade secret information that you do not have the right to disclose.
• Plagiarize or steal ideas from other users or third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Piqd and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the local jurisdiction and foreign countries.

Important Note Regarding Startup Ideas: Posting an idea onPiqd does not grant you intellectual property rights (such as patents or trademarks) to that idea. Ideas shared publicly on the internet can be viewed by anyone. If your idea requires legal protection, you should consult with an attorney and file the necessary legal protections before sharing it publicly. We are not responsible for the theft or unauthorized use of any ideas posted on the platform.

5. Validation Scores and AI Analysis

Piqd provides validation scores and AI-generated research/analysis for startup ideas. These metrics are based on community engagement and algorithmic analysis. They are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and do not constitute professional business, financial, or legal advice.

We make no guarantees regarding the market viability, profitability, or success of any idea, regardless of its validation score on the platform. You should conduct your own independent research and due diligence before investing time, money, or resources into any business venture.

6. Micro-Donations and Financial Transactions

If you use our platform to make or receive micro-donations:

• All donations are voluntary and made at your own risk.
• Piqd acts solely as a facilitator and takes a platform fee (typically 10%) to cover operational costs.
• We do not guarantee how founders will utilize the donated funds.
• Donations are generally non-refundable unless required by law or in cases of proven fraud.
• Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Razorpay), and you agree to be bound by their respective terms of service.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or delete your account through your account settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Piqd, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

9. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in whichPiqd operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

11. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
